Montparnasse train station

Client: AREP / SNCF
Wayfinding / Paris, France, May 2018

SNCF required a comprehensive visual wayfinding system to orient passersby within the backstage areas of Paris’s Montparnasse train station. The scope included the design of window frostings and iconography for information desks, lost property offices, and left-luggage locker areas.

As part of the renovation of this service space, a detailed analysis of circulation paths, hallways, and operational zones was conducted. This process helped identify the key information and visual elements needed to support public visibility and orientation, including clear, step-by-step graphic instructions for the use of the lockers.
